Canadian Providence Health Care in search of developers for St. Paul’s Hospital (New SPH)

Providence Health Care has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) inviting private developers to design, build and partially finance a $1.4 billion hospital project in Vancouver, Canada, according to InfraPPP.

The existing St. Paul’s Hospital serves more than 174,000 patients annually, with more than 500,000 visits per year. In 2004, Providence acquired an 18.38-acre parcel of land in 2004 to build a new hospital, as a solution to constraints associated with the current site.
