An active COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital in Vancouver

A Vancouver Coastal Health bulletin shows a COVID-19 outbreak in the 3C unit at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital

Two patients tested positive but no staff were infected

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver’s Mount Saint Joseph Hospital is the 11th acute care facility in B.C. to have an active outbreak of COVID-19.

A notice shared online by Vancouver Coastal Health shows it is linked to the 3C unit.

Providence Health has confirmed two patients in unit 3-C have tested positive and at this point, no staff are infected.

The bulletin says restrictions were imposed on Jan. 11.
