As Canada continues to battle COVID-19, testing capacity and treatment research have become top priorities among health care professionals. British Columbians are beginning to see the positive impact of physical distancing, but the fight still wages on.

St. Paul’s Foundation is working to support the critical work of B.C.’s health care staff and is now asking British Columbians to join in by donating to its COVID-19 Response Fund. The special fund addresses the most urgent needs of Providence Health Care’s patients, residents and front line staff — including the team at St. Paul’s Hospital.

“Testing is the key to COVID-19 diagnostics and surveillance,” says Dr. Marc Romney, the medical director of infection prevention and control at St. Paul’s Hospital. “And high-volume testing capacity is critical in our fight to contain and control the spread of COVID-19.”
