A retiree for the past two years, Susan St. Jean of Cornwall, ON, was still working when her problems began.
Both St. Jean and Hunt have tinnitus, which is “the perception of a noise in your head with no external source,” explains Lisa Bell, an audiologist with the Cochlear Implant Program at St. Paul’s Hospital.
